Our Story
Pramanik Ayurveda traces back to Ayurveda Siromani T. Sankaran Vaidyar — a practitioner from a lineage of at least five generations of Ayurvedic physicians — who earned his Ayurveda Siromani degree from Madras University in 1952 and founded KVS Medicals in 1960. The unit went on to produce around 50 medicinal formulations drawn from classical Ayurvedic texts, earning its drug manufacturing license in 1982 along with Good Manufacturing Practice certification.

After Vaidyar passed away on April 10, 2018, his family took up his legacy — reinventing the business as Pramanik Ayurveda Reinvented Pvt. Ltd. to keep his original formulations alive for a new generation. The mission today is the same one the family has carried forward since: enhancing the well-being of people in Kerala, across India, and eventually around the world, through the principles of scientific Ayurveda.
